Missions

As a new Field Service Technician (m/f/d), you will be the interface between high technology and patient well-being. In this position, you will be responsible for the safe operation, optimization, and clinical integration of state-of-the-art robotic systems in our medical environment.

 

Your tasks will include:

 

• Maintenance and servicing: planning and carrying out regular maintenance measures, including safety checks (STK) and metrological checks (MTK), in accordance with regulations such as the Medical Device Operator Ordinance (MPBetreibV), in order to prevent equipment failures

 

• Compliance with the Medical Device Regulation (MDR)

 

• Coordination of deployment plans and ordering of spare parts in cooperation with employees from all departments (including technical service, sales, customer service, and internal sales, etc.)

 

• Repair and troubleshooting at the customer's site: rapid diagnosis of malfunctions and repair of technical defects in complex medical equipment, in particular the Focal One® HIFU system

 

• Installation and commissioning: installation, connection, and testing of new devices, as well as training of medical staff.

 

• Documentation: complete and timely recording of all service calls, test results, and changes to master data in special service management systems.

 

• Technical support: assisting customers or clinical staff with questions about applications, often by phone or remotely

 

• Regular communication and coordination with headquarters in Lyon for all technical questions and requirements

 

• Assistance at trade shows, workshops, and sales activities, for example

Profil

You plan and coordinate your assignments flexibly from home, in consultation with your colleagues. The area of activity covers all facilities in the DACH region. This exciting position involves a lot of travel.

You are already working and living in Germany near Baden-Württemberg, Bavaria or close to these states. You have very good transport connections (highway network, rail connections, airport).

 

You have several years of experience in the maintenance and repair of medical devices.

 

You have solid knowledge and training in medical technology or comparable professional education  (e.g., robotics, electrical engineering, or mechatronics).

 

You are known for your high degree of flexibility in providing direct customer support.

 

• Willingness to travel regularly, often for several days at a time.

 

• Very good command of written and spoken German (C1-C2) and good command of written and spoken English.
